Battle begins for future of abortion in the US

The US is braced for a long and divisive debate over reproductive rights amid fears that President Trump’s second nomination to the Supreme Court will tip the bench against abortion.

A fundraising drive was started by groups determined to fight any candidate who would overturn the 1973 Roe v Wade decision that gave women abortion rights.
