Building a Wall Amid Vanishing Frontiers

VOTERS WILL TAKE TO THE polls on Sunday for Mexico’s presidential election – and in November for the U.S. midterm elections – at a time of nearly unprecedented tension between the North American neighbors.

President Donald Trump has long threatened to erect a completed border wall at the U.S.-Mexico border – and as recently as May 29 vowed that Mexico would pay for construction of the wall “in the end.”
