House Democrats call for probe into President Trump’s ‘criminal conspiracy’ in light of Cohen’s guilty plea
House Judiciary Democrats urged their Republican colleagues on Friday to take “several actions” responding to President Trump’s implication in a “criminal conspiracy,” marking a tiny step towards possible impeachment proceedings.
The committee’s 17 Democrats signed the letter, which comes in the wake of ex-Trump attorney Michael Cohen pleading guilty to federal charges and implicating the President in committing campaign finance crimes.
